It's time to start thinking about next year's raffle quilt and we're asking members to help us pick a color palette.  Please comment on this blog with the number of the color palette you would like to see incorporated into the raffle.  Vote for only ONE palette please.  There will also be a voting on Instagram and Facebook.  Voting will remain open through May.

Raffle Quilt Color Palettes

We are also taking quilt design submissions for the raffle quilt.  The design should be queen sized and feature a modern traditional aesthetic.  The design should include something easily executed by a group of people but tougher to accomplish as an individual and if possible the design should utilize paper piecing.  The paper piecing can be as complex as an entire block or simple units like HST or geese.  Please submit a jpeg for your design to the guild email,, and include your name and contact information.

All designs submitted for the raffle quilt will also be considered for this year's QuiltCon Charity Quilt Challenge.  For more details please visit the MQG's official site for the project.

QuiltCon Charity Quilt Palette 2019

Submissions for both the raffle quilt and the charity quilt will remain open until July 31st.  Please note that your submission may have to be modified to fit the color palette and size requirements.

See you at sew day!
