April Business Meeting Highlights

It was great to get together last night to reconnect and discuss some guild business.  Thanks again to Jan and the Spice and Vine for letting us use there great facility!

Along with discussing guild business members turned in their completed NICU quilts and finished Ronald McDonald House charity blocks.  Both are looking fantastic, GREAT JOB MEMBERS!

NICU Quilts

The guild will be be offering Name Tag kits in May that will include the hardware needed for a lanyard!  The cost will be $2; please leave a comment at the end of this post or on the facebook page if you are interested in purchasing a kit.

The business meeting was concluded with a Modern Quilt Guild webinar, You Call that a Quilt by Mary Fons.  It was a quick history of quilting in America and the four categories of quilt making, oh and a myth buster or two.  Don't forget to watch the next Modern Quilt Guild webinar on April 14th:

Finally, SEW & TELL!

Beautiful job members!  Don't forget our open sew on April 16th.  See You There!!!
