Last night's business meeting was FANTASTIC! We ran through the business quickly and the members in attendance had a chance to purchase the guild name tag kits.
Each includes a pattern for the name tag construction and lanyard, a name tag and lanyard hardware. It's going to be so exciting to see every one's creativity at work.
In addition to the regular business we had Wendy Iris speak on free motion quilting. Wendy was GREAT! Her knowledge, technique and gusto is enough to inspire the most reluctant quilter to try free motion quilting. Of course, her designs are beautiful and she makes it look effortless but her teaching was very realistic and a down to earth fun approach to quilting.
