2022 Colors of the Year

It looks like 2022 is the year of purple! Both the Kona and Pantone colors of the year are purple this year. Here's Pantone: And the "why" of the color from their website: The Kona color of the year, "Cosmos", is a red-violet counterpart to Pantone's blue-violet "Veri Peri". What do you think of these picks for color of the year? Do either of them spark an idea for you or inspire you? August News & Events

August Sew Day We'll continue the hybrid Zoom/in-person Sew Day model for the foreseeable future, and you're welcome to switch which option you choose as often as you'd like. We'll be including Zoom attendees in the door prize drawings, and if you are attending in-person please remember to wear your name tags! We have some new members, and we want everyone to feel welcome. Jane will be teaching hand quilting! We will also continue masking/social distancing (unless both parties are comfortable being closer) during in person Sew Days for now, in order to protect the health of our members and their families. Events WSQ Quilt Show – October 15 – 17 The show is ON! It'll be Friday – Sunday, October 15 – 17, 2021, from 10:00 – 6:00 each day (Sunday 10:00 – 4:00). The theme is Harvesting Quilts. Quilt registration is open and can be done online here until August 8, 2021 . Quilt judging by a professional quilt judge is available for $10 per quilt. WSQ also
