INMod May: News + Events

May Sew day will be May 19th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and we will be returning to the Associate Industries building, 1206 N Lincoln St, Suite 200, Spokane WA 99201. Thank you to everyone that came to our last sew day and a special thank you to Sharon who provided the sewing space at the Associates Building off of Boone. MQG Quilt of the Month April: Rhythms and Reps by Anne Deister Are you working on this year's guild challenge? This year we are going to be submitting our challenge quilts into the WSQ show this fall. Challenge quilts must be 50" x 60" (portrait orientation), use at minimum one full fat quarter of Kona Tiger Lily and have at least one curve in the design, see below for a couple examples from guild members. 2022 Colors of the Year

It looks like 2022 is the year of purple! Both the Kona and Pantone colors of the year are purple this year. Here's Pantone: And the "why" of the color from their website: The Kona color of the year, "Cosmos", is a red-violet counterpart to Pantone's blue-violet "Veri Peri". What do you think of these picks for color of the year? Do either of them spark an idea for you or inspire you?
