Sew Down, Curves Ahead Workshop Preparation

Are you ready for the Sew Down, Curves Ahead  workshop this Saturday, January 13th??

This month's sew day workshop from 10am - 4pm at the Moran Prairie Library required pre-registration and is  NOW FULL. After a brief business meeting, the remainder of sew day is devoted to the curved piecing workshop. (No outside sewing projects please.)

The workshop features the Quarter Hours quilt pattern designed by Heather, Quiltachusetts, who is a current INMod member. Custom INMod acrylic drunkard's path templates have been created especially for this event, and are yours to keep. The templates can also serve as free-motion quilting guides. Workshop fabric requirements are provided below for the 60" x 72"quilt.

There is also a coloring page for the pattern to help in your color selections by clicking HERE.

The fabric requirements for the Quarter Hours pattern are as follows:
  • 4 yards background (Pre-cut 7 strips, 6.75" x WOF)
  • (12) 1/4 yards, (fat quarters or fat eighths will work) (For each clock, pre-cut 3 squares, 5.5")
  • 2/3 yards for binding (2.5” strips)
  • 4 yards for the backing (backing may vary up to a yard based on print and the direction of the print).

**If attending the workshop please bring your fabric, sewing machine and other necessities to the workshop.  There will be a cutting mat and ironing stations provided at the workshop and we ask, in order to conserve space, to please use these stations instead of a personal cutting mat and/or ironing board.

Before the workshop begins there will be a brief information meeting and a show and tell.  Hope to see you all there.
