July News and Events
This month's sew day is just around the corner on Saturday July 21st from 10 am to 4 pm at the Associated Industries building (1206 N Lincoln St, Set 200, Spokane, WA 99201).
During sew day there will be a quilt design brain storming session to help steer both the raffle quilt and QuiltCon charity quilt. All we ask is that you bring your ideas and any design inspiration that will help in the process.
INMOD 2018 CHALLENGE QUILT
Entries for the WSQ quilt show is October are now open. While your Curve/Kona Tiger Lily challenge quilt doesn't been to be finished until the end of September you will need to enter your quilt now until August to have it displayed at the WSQ show.
If you are entering your quilt please enter them in the Modern Machine Quilted category and include at the beginning of quilt description the following statement all in caps:
THIS QUILT IS PART OF THE INLAND NORTHWEST MODERN QUILT GUILD'S 2018 TIGER LILY CURVE CHALLENGE. #INMODQUILTGUILDCHALLENGE
This will help people viewing the quilts recognize them as all part of the same challenge and spread awareness about our guild. Here is the link to the WSQ online entry form: www.wsqspokane.org
Check out May's News and Events post to see more of the challenge details.
QuiltCon registration is now open for MQG members. Along with registration for the show, members can enter quilts for consideration in the show from now until November 30th.
