Christina's workshop is on Saturday September 22nd from 10am to 4:30pm at the Red Lion downtown Spokane, WA, lunch provided. Attendees will make a basic wedge quilt up to 56” square finished. Christina will introduce wedge newbies to the basics of using wedge rulers and guide students through design, cutting, piecing and construction decisions as they make their first dynamic wedge quilt. There are lots of opportunities to customize your wedge quilt into something one of a kind, and this class will cover those. Requires a 9 or 10 degree wedge ruler. In addition to the Wedge Quilt Workshop Christina will be holding a lecture on modern free motion quilting on Friday September 21st from 7pm to 8pm at the Inland Northwest Blood Center, 210 W Cataldo Ave, Spokane, WA 99201 (giving blood not required). In Christina's FMQ Impact Lecture listeners will discover the tricks free-motion quilters use to make their quilting sizzle. Even beginning quilters can use these techniques to heighten the impact of their quilting. The lecture includes a Powerpoint presentation and samples to pass around.

One last note regarding the workshop, if you have already signed up for the workshop please contact the guild by email (info@inmodquiltguild.com) or on Facebook and let us know if you intend to purchase a book from directly from Christina at the workshop or before hand at a book seller of your choice. The book is available on amazon.com in an ebook format.
Moses Lake MQG Road Trip
The Moses Lake MQG has invited members of INMod to crash their sew day on September 15th. For members wanting to take a road trip we will be car pooling to Ephrata and spending the day with the Moses Lake MQG. It will be a fun day of sewing, eating and going to a great little store, The Fabric Patch (one of Quilt Sampler's best 10 quilt shops!). Please email the guild, info@inmodquiltguild.com, if you plan on coming. We will be meeting at the Associated Industries Building (1206 N Lincoln St, Set 200, Spokane, WA 99201) at 8am on Saturday September 15th and will be leaving Ephrata around 3pm.
Sew Day
September Sew Day will on the 15th, same day as the Ephrata road trip, from 10am to 4pm at the Associated Industries Building (1206 N Lincoln St, Set 200, Spokane, WA 99201). Bring your sewing projects, large or small and enjoy a day with friends and fellow quilters.
