There is so much quilting inspiration this time of year from colors to weather and even quilt shows! The Guild's Sew Day is Saturday October 27th from 10 am to 4 pm at the Associated Industries building at Boone and Lincoln (1206 N Lincoln St, Set 200, Spokane, WA 99201).
Our final curve workshop will be taught by fellow member Jane Bitz and she will be teaching us how to make straight lines curve with Lorrie Cranor's Interleaved method. There is a full description and material list in the link below:

While at the show make sure to check out all the modern quilt entries and try to find all the INMod entries including the Tiger Lily Curve Challenge quilts! When you come across an INMod quilt please share it with other members using the hashtag #inmodquiltguild .
For November's sew day we will be assembling our QuiltCon Charity Quilt! This year's theme is small piecing with a great fresh color palette.
We are asking members to donate fabric from their stash for this project. Fabric must match the color palette above and either be solid or a print that is a near solid. The design will incorporate both improve strip piecing and micro min quilt blocks. Please make 3-5 mini blocks and/or mini geese or HST strips. Blocks can either be standard or improve pieced and no larger than 2'' x 2''. Unit strips should not be longer than 6''. Below are several links to free mini block downloads:
