November's sew will be on Saturday the 17th and we will be constructing the top for the 2019 QuiltCon charity quilt challenge. Because this is a guild challenge we would like as many of you to participate as possible so Katie is hosting a Pre-sew day sew day at her home on Saturday Nov 3rd from 11am - 4pm!

| 2019 QuiltCon Charity Quilt Color Palette |
We are asking members to donate fabric from their stash for this project, see this year's color palette above. Fabric must match the color palette and either be solid or a print that is a near solid. The design will incorporate both improve strip piecing and micro mini quilt blocks. Please make 3-5 mini blocks and/or mini geese or HST strips. Blocks can either be standard or improv pieced and no larger than 2'' x 2'' finished. Unit strips should not be longer than 6'' long and 2" wide, the smaller the better. If bitten by the micro mini block quilt bug don't hesitate to make more than 5 blocks to share with others. All micro blocks need to be completed and brought to the November 17th sew day. Don't forget if you can't make the Nov 17th sew day please rsvp for the pre-sew day at Katie's
