Thank you to all those that filled out our survey! We got a lot of great data, and are making all sorts of graphs and charts to analyze it. Look for an update with results from that soon.
Colors of the Year
It seems like both Kona and Pantone are looking towards a brighter future with their 2021 color of the year choices. I can't wait to see the color palettes generated for these colors, and think about quilt designs that might go well with them. We'll be having at least one challenge this year with these colors; it's not too early to start brainstorming now!
Kona
The Kona color of the year for 2021 is Horizon, a striking sky blue that Kona describes as "crisp, clean, and perfectly serene".
Pantone
Pantone has chosen two colors of the year for 2021: Ultimate Gray and Illuminating. This is Pantone's statement on the color choices:
A message of happiness supported by fortitude, the combination of PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Gray + PANTONE 13-0647 Illuminating is aspirational and gives us hope. We need to feel that everything is going to get brighter – this is essential to the human spirit.

PANTONE 13-0647 Illuminating is a bright and cheerful yellow sparkling with vivacity, a warming yellow shade imbued with solar power. Upcoming Events
QuiltCon 2021
Registration is still open for QuiltCon 2021. It is an all virtual format, and a great opportunity to have a QuiltCon "lite" experience, as registration is only $8 to view all the quilts, as well as watch the awards ceremony. If you register for any lectures or workshops your $8 registration fee will be waived. There are still openings in lots of great lectures and workshops, so head on over to their website and check it out! The Event Catalog has a great overview of how QuiltCon will work and the schedule, and the Interactive Schedule is a good way to browse lectures and workshops.Other Events

It's not too late to get your official InMod sticker and pin pack for renewing or signing up before December 31! If you are a renewing member you can email the guild to let us know you'd like to renew, and pay through PayPal. Dues are $35 again this year. Send payments to inmodquiltguild@gmail.com, and please select the "friends and family" option. If you know someone who wants to join as a new member, please direct them to our membership form to register with us.
For those that have already paid their 2021 dues, your sticker and pin packs will be shipping shortly.
