Keep in Touch!
If you're not currently subscribed to get emails from the blog, I highly suggest it. It's a great way to keep in touch without having to do any work. Follow the steps below to subscribe.
1. Click on the "subscribe" link on the top right of the blog.
3. You will receive a verification email after Step 2. Follow the directions in that email to activate your subscription.
4. Sit back and enjoy blog posts sent right to your inbox!
Call for Board Members
If you want to become more involved in the guild leadership by joining the Board of Directors, please submit your name to the guild email at info@inmodquiltguild.com. The guild's annual leadership meeting will be held in the next two weeks and we will vote on new board members then, so get your name in soon if you want to start serving asap! :)
Upcoming Events
QuiltCon 2021 + Awards Ceremony Viewing Party
Registration for QuiltCon 2021 is temporarily down for maintenance, but when it's back up it's only $8! That gets you in to view all the quilts, and watch the awards ceremony.And speaking of . . . for guild members that register for QuiltCon we will be hosting an awards ceremony virtual watch party! Come hang out with us on Zoom on February 17 at 5 pm to watch them reveal the winners. If you want to attend shoot the guild an email with your registration receipt and we'll get you all set up.
2021 Events Schedule
We'll be posting an event schedule for the year near the end of the month, so look for another blog/Instagram/Facebook post with more details about that. We have lots of fun projects planned, and more ways to engage with the guild than ever.
Membership Renewal
If you haven't paid your dues yet, now's the time! If you are a renewing member you can email the guild to let us know you'd like to renew, and pay through PayPal ($35). Send payments to inmodquiltguild@gmail.com, and please select the "friends and family" option. Or if you want to pay with credit/debit let us know and we can set up a PayPal invoice for you that will give you more options for payment. If you know someone who wants to join as a new member, please direct them to our membership form to register with us.
Pin and sticker packs for those who renewed by December 31 have started shipping, so keep your eyes open for those in your mailboxes.
#InModMakes
Our first #InModMakes feature will be posted next Monday! We are so excited to begin featuring your work, and are planning to do two features a month all year. That being said, we're going to need some more work to show off to keep on that schedule, so email pictures to the guild or tag your work on Instagram with #InModMakes. Though finished projects are great, you can also submit WIPs, or even just techniques, tips, or tricks you use. Don't forget, you'll receive a fun little quilting/sewing themed sticker pack as a thank you when you're featured!
