Aurifilosophy – All About Thread! With Yvonne Fuchs (@quiltingjetgirl)

This free event is only open to guild members!!
Are you ready to achieve brilliant results with all the amazing weights of luscious Aurifil thread? Yvonne will share a structured presentation and large trunk of Aurifil projects (many quilted on her home / domestic machine) that were pieced and quilted exclusively with Aurifil thread.
We will cover thread basics, including information on weight and ply, spool positioning, bobbin thread weight considerations, needles, and tension settings. Packed with helpful tips and tricks, Yvonne will share projects and photos aimed to inspire and expand your use of Aurifil threads on all your quilting projects. Each program attendee will receive a small spool of thread and an Aurifil Product Brochure.
You’ll leave inspired with your new knowledge!
March Sew Day
In addition to our Aurifilosophy presentation at noon on Sew Day we will also have our usual guild update at 10:10, followed by sew and tell and open sew until 11:30, at which time we'll take a lunch break before the Aurifilosophy lecture.
Quilt Along Project

March is our month for cutting - so now is a great time to print out your paper piecing patterns and get all your fabric pieces cut.
Round Robin
The Round Robin will start in April, our first exchange will take place around the April sew day (April 17), when we deliver our starting packets to the first person on our lists. If you're starting with a medallion or starter block(s), make sure you have those ready, and if you have fabric you want people to use, make sure that is all ready to go as well!
For those participating, keep your eye out for an email in the next couple weeks with the project sheet for you to fill out.
Sip & Stitch
The next Sip & Stitch is March 23 from 6-8 pm. The Zoom link will be sent out the morning of the 21st.
