May Sew Day
Our May Sew Day is this Saturday, the 15th, and will be conducted on Zoom and we have HUGE NEWS! We will be having an in-person option at the Corbin Senior Center from 10 am - 2 pm! (Apologies for getting everyone excited, it turns out Corbin Senior Center has another event this Saturday so we will start our in-person sew days on June 19). We are also postponing Christa's demo to a later date, and will update with the new date soon.
When we do have in-person Sew Days we will still be conducting the guild news update by Zoom, and will keep the Zoom sew day going after the guild update for those that will be participating virtually.
If you want to attend at Corbin in June, please bring your own equipment to the extent possible (including extension cords) - there will be an iron and ironing board for group use, as well as a cutting mat. There will be lots of open tables for people to set up other cutting or ironing stations if you don't want to share equipment. We will be abiding by social distancing and masking requirements, and eating/drinking is only permitted in their designated dining area. If you have any questions about the location or Covid-related restrictions please contact the guild.
We anticipate having this in-person option available for Sew Days going forward, and will let you know of any changes if/when they happen.
Resources
We have some great new resources uploaded to the website under the "Members Login" tab. This tab is password protected and if you don't have the password filed away contact the guild and we'll let you know what it is.
On this page you can find the Aluminum Foil Applique Instructions from Nikki's demo, the Aurifil Resource Guide from Yvonne's presentation, and a link to our brand new Lending Library! If you'd like to check out a book from the library contact the owner listed and coordinate pick up/drop off with them. And, if you have books you'd like to list in our library let us know and we'll add them!
We will also be adding a link to our fancy new private YouTube channel! You read that right, all our guild recordings will live on this YouTube channel for your viewing pleasure. Look for that link going live in the next couple weeks.
Quilt Along Project

May is another piecing month; if you're moving along faster that's fine though! Share your progress or finished quilt on Instagram, we love to see what you're doing.
Sip & Stitch
Please note that some events may have different start times due to lectures or guests during the Sip & Stitch. We will update the Events page with any time changes, and will also send those out through the guild email list, Instagram, and Facebook.
