August News and Events

Hi all, we hope everyone is enjoying the last few weeks for summer. This month's sew day will be Saturday August 18th, 10:00am to 4:00pm, at the Associated Industries building (1206 N Lincoln St, Set 200, Spokane, WA 99201). We're looking forward to seeing everyone there.

During sew day there will be fabric available for member wanted to make blocks for Washington and Oregon police officers in injured or killed in the line of duty. Cassie Scott (@modernclemintine) collects the blocks and assembles quilts to give to either the family or officers wounded or killed. She asked that those making blocks follow the Reverse Sawtooth Star pattern by Suzy Quilts using only navy and white fabrics, prints welcomed. If you would like to make a block or two or more there will be more information and materials at sew day.

Last month our guild chose the design for our raffle quilt. Our next raffle quilt will feature a warm palette and the very popular pickle dish design with a modern twist.…
